I agree that certain members of our society must be considered first for the COVID vaccines, especially the individuals most at risk.However, the draconian laws that are in place lead to consequences most disappointing! Currently, only individuals 65+ years of age may receive a vaccine, and at some facilities, there is an excess of vaccines because not enough elderly people wish to receive the vaccine. Instead of allowing any individual to step up and receive a vaccine, some facilities are deciding to THROW THEM AWAY!! How is this acceptable?! Excess vaccines MUST be allocated to the appropriate people, but if the appropriate people don't step up, then ANYONE should get it! Would we rather the vaccine be destroyed than more people be vaccinated? It’s insanity! We must be sure every vaccine is used! We cannot let vaccines be destroyed!
