YouTube Video: The first few albums of Bob Marley were produced by Lee “Scratch” Perry - who is a musical genius, but Perry sold the rights to these songs from under Bob Marley and his bandmates. That’s why you hear different versions of Marley songs as he got older. “African Herbsman” (1973) is the compilation album that gathers the most important Lee Perry produced songs. This album is amazing and is arguably Marley’s best work.
